ARR or MRR Display

Use this tab (Settings > General > Agreement Settings) to choose whether to display revenue in ARR or MRR, regardless of the input type you provide. For example, you can enter contracts in ARR, but if you discuss them on a daily basis in MRR terms, it makes more sense to display MRR and Skalin will calculate the conversion from ARR to MRR. The reverse also applies.

Contract Renewal

The choice of contract renewal mode in Skalin involves two distinct settings.

The first is the "Auto-renewal creation" toggle:

• If disabled, Skalin does not touch contracts in any way.
• If enabled, Skalin will automatically renew all contracts that have the "auto-renewal" parameter set to yes.

If the "Auto-renewal creation" toggle is enabled, there are 2 renewal modes:

• Manual mode: Skalin proposes a contract with a "pending" status that you must validate from the "My Actions" section. This contract proposal is triggered each time the notice date of an existing contract is reached.
• Automatic mode: Skalin creates the new contract with a "validated" status and does not notify you (so you have nothing to validate).

Custom Contract Fields

As with customers and contacts, it is possible to create custom fields at the contract level to add additional information. Please note, however, that it is currently not possible to map these custom fields with fields from your CRM or billing tool.
